The 3rd Annual Latina Comedy Festival is back!
The production team behind Las Locas Comedy is proud to announce the return of the Latina Comedy Festival to Chicago from October 3rd-5th, 2024.
We are thrilled to announce that submissions for the 2024 Latina Comedy Festival in Chicago are now OPEN! This festival is a celebration of the vibrant and diverse voices of Latina comedians, and we can’t wait to showcase your incredible talent.
Before you submit your application, please take a moment to carefully read the FAQs below and on the website. These will help you understand the application process, important dates, and what to expect if you’re selected to perform.
Important Dates
- Submission Deadline: Get your application submitted on or before July 31st.
- Notification Date: All performers will be notified by Sunday, August 17th, 2024, if they have been accepted into the festival.
- Performance Schedules: Full performance schedules will be determined by September 2nd, 2024.
FAQs
Who can apply? Any Latina stand-up comedian with a passion for comedy and a desire to perform at our festival is welcome to apply.
How do I submit my application? You can submit your application through our official website. Please include a recent video of your performance, a brief bio, and any relevant social media links.
What is the selection process? Our selection committee will review all submissions and select performers based on originality, comedic style, and overall talent.
When will I be notified if I’m selected? All performers will be notified by Sunday, August 17th, 2024.
What happens after I’m selected? If you’re selected, we’ll reach out with further details about your performance schedule, promotional opportunities, and other important information. Full performance schedules will be determined by September 2nd, 2024.
Can I perform multiple times during the festival? Yes, depending on the schedule and availability, selected performers may have the opportunity to perform multiple times throughout the festival.
