Elena Torres is an ex-telenovela actress turned stand up comedian. No, that is not a joke. After appearing on hit Mexican telenovelas: “Teresa”, “La Que No Podia Amar” and “Por Siempre Mi Amor”, Elena moved to United States and pursued stand up comedy. She is one of the premiere Spanish speaking stand up comedians in the country, having toured with comedians like Sofia Niño de Rivera and Carlos Ballarta. Elena’s comedy has been featured in the Washington Post and Telemundo.
