Laneya is a New York-based SAG-AFTRA actor, stand-up comedian, writer, and content creator. Working professionally since childhood, her credits include a co-star role directed by Spike Lee on Netflix’s She’s Gotta Have It. A graduate of St. John’s University with a B.S. in Communications focused on TV & Film, she is also bilingual in Spanish. Beyond acting, Laneya creates and stars in her own comedy sketches and has earned runner-up honors in stand-up comedy competitions. Her work spans television, film, digital media, and live performance, bringing together strong storytelling, comedic timing, and a distinctive point of view.
