Christine Picón Van Duzer is a kindergarten teacher whose humor has gotten her through twenty-three years of teaching in public education. As a Puerto Rican living in Los Angeles, she got her start in comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) where she trained and performed improv. Over the years she has taken that training and evolved into a stand-up comic engaging audiences through everyday teacher life. She has performed at Gotham Comedy Club in New York City, The Crow Comedy Club in Santa Monica, California, the Laugh Riot Grrrl Comedy Festival at Tao Comedy Studio in Los Angeles, Flappers in Burbank, California, and most recently at Delight Factory in Brooklyn, New York. She co-produces a stand-up show called Third Act for Female Comics Forty and Over.
